Fidelis Forensics is a specialist organisation delivering expert forensic medicine services across Australia. With decades of combined experience, they are also educators, training clinicians and lawyers in forensic medicine and expert witness testimony. The organisation required a brand identity that reflected its credibility, professionalism, and academic expertise.

The Challenge
The goal was to create a complete brand identity for Fidelis Forensics that could seamlessly translate across digital and print media. This included developing a logo, brand guidelines, and eventually a website and social media presence. The brief called for a professional and elegant design that balanced the fields of law and medicine, using a gold and black colour scheme with a subtle pop of colour such as green or turquoise to enhance visual appeal. The visual style needed to feel crisp, academic, and trustworthy while remaining modern and simple.

The Design Process
The project began with three initial logo concepts, designed to visually express the duality of legal authority and medical expertise. After presenting these options to the client, feedback was gathered and used to refine the design into a final logo, along with several approved variations.
