About the Project

Hacsan, established in Vietnam in 2016 and now with a footprint in Melbourne, Australia, is a dynamic firm specialising in architectural and interior design. They’re dedicated to crafting innovative and highly functional spaces for a diverse global clientele, bringing their distinctive vision to life in every project they undertake.

The Brief

The client, Nhat, approached us with a clear need: a brand-new website that was not only responsive across all devices but also exceptionally fast and secure. A crucial requirement was for the site to be easily editable by the Hacsan team themselves, eliminating the need for ongoing technical assistance when updating content.

The Challenge

Our initial task was to devise a comprehensive strategy and solution before diving into development. The primary challenge was empowering the client to manage their website content independently, despite having no prior web development knowledge. Our solution was to build the site on WordPress, leveraging its robust optimisation and extensive plugin compatibility for future growth.

Furthermore, Hacsan needed a rebrand that exuded a modern, clean, and premium feel. We recommended a dark colour palette to convey this sense of luxury and sophistication. To immediately capture visitor attention, we proposed incorporating a dynamic movement on the hero banner. The final, but significant, challenge was to deliver all of this within a small budget, requiring creative and efficient solutions.

The Process

We kicked off the project by drafting the website design on Figma, meticulously mapping out the sitemap, wireframes, and design prototypes. This allowed the client to visualise the site’s functionality and aesthetics before development began. We went through several revision cycles, refining the design and layout based on their feedback.

Despite the client’s limited budget, we were committed to delivering a stunning and responsive website. We extensively researched templates to expedite the development process and sourced elements that could be integrated without incurring premium plugin costs, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.

Following the design phase, we created three project template pages that the client could easily duplicate for future projects. To empower them with self-editing capabilities and save on design costs, we provided video call training on website editing. We also established a clear category structure to link all projects seamlessly. For client communication, a comprehensive contact page with a submission form was set up, secured with Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam and bot activity.

The Result

The new Hacsan Architectural & Interior website successfully meets all the client’s requirements. It’s fully responsive, fast, and secure, providing a seamless experience across all devices. The WordPress platform ensures easy content management for the Hacsan team, allowing them to add and edit projects effortlessly without technical expertise. The rebranding has been a success, with the dark, modern aesthetic and dynamic hero banner effectively communicating Hacsan’s premium brand identity. The project was delivered within the client’s budget, showcasing how strategic planning and creative solutions can yield high-quality results even with financial constraints.
