SOLIS comes from the Latin word for “sun,” symbolizing power, productivity, and prosperity. Just as the sun sustains life, the SOLIS brand aims to play a vital role in the lives of farmers. Manufactured by ITL (International Tractors Limited), in partnership with Yanmar, a Japanese company renowned for over 100 years of quality, ITL produces more than 300,000 tractors annually and ranks among the top five global tractor manufacturers.

The Challenge
PFG Australia began distributing Solis Tractors in the local market and needed a tailored brand guideline and a strong product launch campaign. The goal was to introduce the brand to a new audience, from small landowners to large-scale farmers, with a limited budget. Key tasks included:
- Identifying the Australian target audience
- Positioning against local competitors
- Creating localized visuals that resonate with farmers
Before & After
To maintain visual integrity without on-site photography, I photographed the tractor at the company premises and executed all enhancements digitally. The complete process, including shooting, retouching in Photoshop, and effects in Premiere Pro, took just 4 hours. This approach provided a practical solution that significantly reduced the cost and time of organizing a full-scale location shoot, while still achieving high-quality, professional visuals.
The Design Process
Using my expertise in photography, retouching, and digital illustration, I created compelling imagery that placed Solis Tractors in authentic Australian farm environments.
The process involved:
A high-quality photography setup to capture detailed tractor shots
- Designing realistic digital backgrounds with proper lighting, shadows, and perspective
- Applying expert-level editing in Adobe Creative Suite
- Developing campaign concepts guided by the 5Ws (Who, What, Where, When, Why)
Animation
After finalising the static creative banner and key visuals, I transformed the assets into an engaging animated advertisement. By animating text, layering elements, and adding sound effects and motion graphics, I enhanced the visual impact and created a dynamic piece of content that:
- Captured the audience’s attention
- Increased post reach and engagement across digital platforms
- Strengthened overall brand presence
The animation process was completed within 2 days after the photoshoot, providing the marketing team with a versatile asset ready for online promotion and social media ads.
